Your Virtual Vet Awaits!
We are now offering telemedicine services to complement our ongoing in-office care. Thanks to our commitment to telehealth, you can connect with the same doctors you know and trust, all from the comfort of your home through your smartphone.
What does this mean for you? Nothing at the hospital changes at all. We’d love to continue to see you and your pet in person, and please remember to be sure to always call in case of emergency. Digital appointments simply make your pet’s veterinary care more accessible and convenient.
Below is a short list of issues that can often be addressed via telemedicine:
- Coughing, sneezing, URI signs
- Diabetic care and management
- External parasites (fleas, ticks, mites, etc.)
- Gastrointestinal upsets, intestinal parasites
- Hospice care
- Lameness evaluations
- Limited mobility patients and clients
- Medication refills
- Nutritional counseling
- Progress exam
- Stressed/anxious pets
- Suture checks
- Weight management
Please note, telemedicine is meant to supplement, not replace, your pet’s office visits, and there is no guarantee that your pet won’t have to come into the hospital for additional tests/an in-person exam. Any in-person follow-up will be billed separately.
We are going to do our very best to be available to you and your pets; however, coverage is limited to working hours. You can anticipate a one-hour turn-around around in response, but we may occasionally be delayed due to an in-office emergency.
We only offer telemedicine services to patients with whom we have an active, existing relationship. If you’d like more information, call us at (440) 585-3600 today!
